We (take this to mean 'I' as it sounds posher!) are a one-woman family-run business based in the south of England. I am a single mother of 6 small boys and 3 girls and run Amalaika and our sister company Milliemoos from home. Amalaika has been running for around 10 years now and is growing larger all the time!

Please note that although I try and get orders out as soon as possible, unless otherwise requested by yourself, please allow 7 days for dispatch

We feature an ever changing range of high-end designer wear for children at heavily discounted prices. All our clothing is brand new and most outfits have tags attached (not all - some have part tags or no tags due to our suppliers removing them - if tags are important to you please state so when ordering and we can advise of items without tags). Some of our stock comes from current year (ie the season just past) and some comes from further back. Generally the price will reflect this but if season is important to you please ask before ordering.

How do we manage to sell so cheaply? Firstly, our profit margin is low. Secondly, we have regular suppliers who sell to us at sensible prices and so we are able to sell on at lowe prices. Thirdly, some of our stock comes from past past seasons and may have been in a shop store room for a while and the shop may have shut down or just want to clear it.
Most of our stock is in A1 condition but please be aware that if it's cheap cheap to expect some airing may be needed. (some store rooms are a bit musty) Please ask before ordering if you need to know for sure.

We are sure you will love our site if you are a bargain hunter!! You'll find that many of our outfits can be found here brand new for less than they would be found second-hand elsewhere!

The majority of our outfits are 'one-offs' whilst we do sometimes get several of one style. We update the site daily and add new stock at least 3 times a week. Unlike 'regular' stores we do not stock the same styles throughout the season. Our stock changes on a daily basis and we have new items arriving most days.
